The digital 12/24V hour meter tracks the engine's operating hours and the reading is easy to read on the digital display. The hour meter has battery backup and stores a maximum of 9999 hours. The digital hour meter can be used in all gasoline engines. Common uses for the engine operating hour meter include cars, mopeds, tractors, motorcycles, ATVs, construction machinery and boats.

The easy-to-install hour meter wire is wrapped around the spark plug wire and secured with tape/cable tie. The meter detects the pulse from the spark plug wire and starts counting the time. The other end of the wire is connected to the hour meter.

The digital hour meter is not suitable for diesel engines.
